According to the Ramayana epic,(it is a very famous story in our history). this place ravana kept sithadevi. A little stream flows by — they say it’s where she bathed. There were women gently placing flower offerings,you can see lot of flowers, bells ringing softly, and the scent of burning incense. It’s simple, but it wraps you in peace. Whether or not you follow the story, you can feel something sacred in the air.
Holy Trinityvery special Church – A Quiet Moment in Nuwara Eliya
Not far from the bustle of town,it is very close hidden by tall trees,very old one stands Holy Trinity Church. Built in 1845,can you image this is nice one it looks like it belongs in a quiet English village. But here it is, right in the heart of Sri Lanka.Dont miss it

Gregory Lake and nuwaraelya like a best friends. Children fly kites,it is happy mononet couples walk hand in hand, and food carts serve spicy mango slices and corn.
I come here often, just to watch the light change on the water. Some days it sparkles like glass. Other times, wrapped in mist, it feels like a painting.
Kande Ela Reservoir – The Still Mirror
A little away from the crowds lies Kande Ela. It’s quiet, with birds nesting nearby and forests leaning close to the water’s edge.
There’s a path where I like to walk, sometimes alone, sometimes with guests. We rarely speak much — the stillness says enough.
Ambewela Farm – A Happy Wind and Open Fields
Ambewela is all soft hills and cool wind. The cows very happy.happy as the people. It’s like a little slice of New Zealand dropped into Sri Lanka.
I’ve seen city children’s eyes go wide seeing cows for the first time. They laugh, point, and run. And the fresh milk — warm, creamy, real — takes me back to my own childhood.

It’s high in the hills, covered in strange soft grass, and the fog hangs low like a secret. Walk quietly and you’ll feel something — not fear, but presence. Ancient. Gentle. Strong.
