If you ever find yourself longing for very beautiful, quiet mornings, mist-covered hills, and a place where the air feels a little cleaner and the sky a little closer — then come to Sri Lanka’s central highlands. As someone who grew up in this part of the island, honestly I can tell you it’s more than just pretty views. It’s peace, it’s simplicity, and it’s something you carry in your heart long after you’ve left.
Many of our guests come here expecting just green tea plantations and cool weather. But once they see the little roads winding through pine forests(normally you can see lot of pine trees here.it is very common this area) or stop at a hilltop and look down into endless green valleys, what an amazing view they always say, “We didn’t know this side of Sri Lanka existed.” Let me take you through some of my favorite hidden spots — the places I return to when I need to breathe, think, or just enjoy the quiet.
