Outside, Colombo felt busy and noisy,it is a capital city in sri Lanka, always very busy, with buses passing and people rushing through the streets. But the moment I stepped inside the museum grounds, everything slowed down. Tall trees, open space, and that beautiful old building standing proudly really building is very old — it felt like Sri Lanka itself was quietly telling its story.

Located right next to Viharamahadevi Park, the Colombo National Museum isn’t just a place to see old objects. It’s a place to feel the journey of our country  proudly history— from ancient kingdoms to colonial times, all under one roof.
